And the money I saved from that got socked into a savings fund for Nice Things (tm) like an elliptical, which is out of stock nationwide still, or a new computer, which is also suffering from parts shortages. So Stimmy Round 1's money finally got sunk into a kitchen upgrade, in the form of a rolling shelf and a new Kitchenaid stand mixer.
Round 2's stimmy money will go back into the black hole of the computer fund, for when parts actually do get back in stock.

thats why there is a social safety net (yes that is what its called) in down undah land. You pay your taxes and then, when you need it like in a bloody pandemic, it is there to help, and when you no longer need it your taxes 'cover' what help you had. and there is nothing wrong with that
