Um, what about that "conscientious objector" bit the Pope (the Other Pope?) rambled about? Doesn't that sorta indicate that there was more intention to the meeting *before* all the backlash?
When your church hierarchy has long been a refuge of those not particularly interested in women, and incapable of getting pregnant, I'd guess that official Catholic doctrine regarding homosexuality will change before the church's position on abortion does.
Woah, maybe it's just the above picture, but New Pope looks a lot like the often-creepy Swedish character actor Peter Stormare, whose most famous role may be as the (spoiler alert!) low-life who feeds Steve Buscemi's body into a wood chipper in Fargo. Coincidence?!?!
I wanna beleive this because I wanted to like this new pope. But I ain't buying it. He's called the mayor of rome a "Fake Catholic" because of his liberal stances and his acceptance of gay marrirage.
