Probably a better choice than the people in his actual candidate pool...

And I'm guessing nobody who said actually understands how businesses actually work.

Back after the ACA finally passed, I said that when comes to whether I want the government to run health insurance or a business, I reasoned that at least the government can't fire you as a citizen to cut cost... Well, I think we're going to see that tactic come into fruition very soon...

Probably not. Still, it's an important test.

I was surprised by the number of times that reasoning was in the comments that WaPo posted. it's like, "WE'VE FUCKING BEEN OVER THIS!" but apparently we have to do it constantly or people will forget what a government is for (i.e. not making fucking money).

Who to listen to? Almost all of the world's climate scientists and the major science organizations, what with all of their data and research and such, or people who believe that it's a plot to steal our freedoms? I mean I just can't decide.

Just because you're a paranoid doesn't mean that your thinking apparatus is greater than trained thinkers and scientists.

Just having "thoughts" about things like climate change doesn't make them scientifically valid and supported by the evidence. Believers in the conspiracy approach don't seem to get that.

I just had a thought.......nope, did not work out the way it was supposed to. Fucking libtards.

I donno... the Pope is like a lot of believing Catholics who says it's a sin, but maybe not always given the circumstances something that can be avoided. Outside the US, and a few other countries where Evangelicals are a majority or a sizable minority, it's a fairly minor issue.

Pfft, like 'Murica's gonna listen to what the Pope says. Some guy tried that back in the Sixties, and it just ended up getting him shot.
