Congresslady-elect Mia Love doesn't seem entirely sure how to deal with being an icon. On the one hand, during her victory speech Tuesday night, she seemed pretty thrilled to have broken some barriers: Many of the naysayers out there said that Utah would never elect a black, Republican, LDS woman to Congress. Not only did we do it, we were the first to do it.
The immigration policies pushed by most "conservatives" would have kept Mia Love's parents from entering the US. They came from Haiti, had no money and no jobs.
except for the pesky fact that the Confederacy overwhelmingly supported the fugitive slave act- which kinda shit all over that states' rights nonsense
Huzzah! Huzzah!

Well, at least she has the "How dare you spotlight what I said" part of the perpetual outrage machine down pat.

Good thing she didn't try to run before 1978
The lizard people?
It's about ethics in gaming journalism!
Always room in the Republican Party for "the good ones" - the ones who know their place and don't try to get too jumped-up.
Utahans? Utaharians. Utahites? Utaheens? Utah Dumb Asses….
According to Wikipedia, she only has three children. Certainly not your typical Mormon.
