All the talk on Breitbart is that Biden is senile. There is no question Trump is the one that in not in control of his faculties. In the words of the professionals, "He's a few sandwiches short of a picnic".

My guess is that by this fall they will have pulled themselves somewhat together. But 2022 is going to be terrifying, for sure. Not least because the GOP candidates are likely to be more extremist than ever.

Now, now, no one is accusing them of being nice. Just of using proper etiquette. I'm sure they made sure to clear their throats politely into handkerchiefs before spitting. (Also, I have to say I adore your handle and want to know how Gobo is doing these days.)

“There was nothing new. It was just the greatest hits,” one person at the event said. “And it was really nasty.”Huh. Really weird how none of them ever noticed that last part before. 🤔

I'd like to agree with you, but all the Republicans I know genuinely believe the election was stolen from Trump, and they are all as dumb as dirt.

Yes, I also don't understand that. I just learned about something called "rational ignorance" and that theory states that people don't really have the time to become well informed about politics. While I understand that, I'd also note that Republicans have gone from "rationally ignorant" to "willfully ignorant."

I have a very dumb Republican friend who asked me why people weren't giving Trump credit for the vaccine (that he had nothing to do with) while conveniently overlooking the fact that he killed at least 400,000 Americans needlessly. Some were going to die anyway, but if we had all masked up 14 months ago, things would have gone a lot better. Instead, he convinced his morons to take a stand for freedumb, and pretend it was all a hoax.

The rubes usually chase the con man out of town after he's fleeced them, these rubes send a "billionaire" hundreds of millions of dollars to "stop the steal."

Since when did “legally” not having the power to do anything stop Trump or his toadies. Laws exist to serve them. I personally think we should be relieved Pence didn’t try some weasely stunt, like simply declaring “there is too much doubt and too many questions about the legitimacy of certain states for me to recognize these votes. I respectfully decline to do so, at this point in time, until the state legislatures of Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, etc., confirm that these results are recognized by those states. Only then can I proceed.” Legal or not, it easily could have happened with these filthy snakes.
