Ignoring the fact that at least 3 aircraft travel with him all the time, the Secret Service has to arrive early to plan a safe route, and there has always been a crossover between his official staff and campaign aides. So some business class airfares and room rent and meals for Trump and a few campaign staff for traveling with him barely dents the cost of his campaign travel.
Of course, his campaign seldom pays local agencies for use of facilities or extra police needed for security and crowd management. And we don't actually know if the Trump campaign has reimbursed the federal government for the small share of the cost the campaign owes because Trump will not release those records.
