So how do we get President Miller trending so hard that Supposedly Actual President Stinky sees it and does to him what he did to President Musk?

Last night I read "Diamond Doris" about Doris Payne, and it was very enjoyable--a quick read too. Lady decided she wanted nice things and to take care of her mom and kids, and ends up being a jewel thief to do so.

A story without context.

I met this woman once. We were on the waterfront in SF. We drank incredible champagne and spoke for a good couple of hours. One of the most attractive people I've ever met. Effortless fun to talk to and very very beautiful.

We kissed.

I miss her a lot.

And yes, the country wasn't swimming in guns. And you needed a damned good reason if you wanted to get a CC permit, assuming it was even legal for you to have one where you were.

seriously.

People post their entire lives on the internet. What they eat, where they shop, every thought and dream, on accounts tied to their schools, workplaces, home addresses even. And then they get all shocked that the companies they are willingly feeding are selling that data.

It boggles the mind.

Sure, but that's not my point, and that's been going on for a while. Posting everything in the hope that other real people see it isn't smart, but I can understand wanting attention.

I'm more saddened by people who talk to 'AI' like it actually listens, because they don't just have different priorities than I do, they fundamentally misunderstand reality.

I think it's a fundamental feature of our make-up, inhered through evolution. It's the same anthropomorphic tendency to personalize various objects ("Goddam car why can't you stop fucking with me and just start?!"). And when you're talking about a program specifically designed to emulate human language, well, it doesn't seem all that surprising.

Axios: YouTube to pay Trump $22 million for suspending his account after Jan. 6 riot [https://www.axios.com/2025/09/29/youtube-trump-settlement-google-january-6]

Trump sued Meta, X and Google over their moves to suspend his accounts on their platforms in 2021, alleging their actions were "unconstitutional" and violated his First Amendment rights.

A private company suspended the account of a private citizen. A private citizen who clearly has no idea what the Constitution says and how the First Amendment works.
