He knows perfectly well that this case is no more likely to go anywhere than the others. This is what he does - and has done for decades: nuisance lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit over and over, never sanctioned, sometimes fined, always willing to do another one. For Trump, this is SOP going back to the 1980s. And I'm sure he gets a big kick out of the fact that he has juked 8 or 10 AGs into doing the work for him.

I can't see Trump resigning and asking for a pardon from Pence or giving himself a pardon. As for pardoning people the only thing he is interested in is the grift he gets for it.
