Life Always is expected to unveil billboards featuring Obama's face and the words "Every 21 minutes, our next possible leader is aborted" on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The first billboard will be near an empty lot at 5812 S. State Street, according to a press release from Life Always.
I would take them a lot more seriously if they regarded the death penalty with the same moral indignation; if they regarded the war in Iraq as also killing our future leaders; if they spoke of caring for babies <i>after</i> they are born too, instead of cutting teacher pay, food stamps; if they regarded illegal immigrants with the same respect for Life Always instead of sending them back to poverty and drug wars; if they thought of Muslims as god&#039;s children worthy of our respect and protection.
I know the LIfe Always people may not be the hypocrites I describe here, but most pro-lifers share that broader belief set.
