"I think there [are] some elements of, particularly, the partisan corporate media governor of Florida, who doesn't want people being vaccinated who disagree with them him politically. That's insane."FTFY, asshole.
This is ethnic politics. It's like Northern Ireland, where the major Protestant parties will get the majority of the Protestant vote on a platform of not letting Catholics do anything ever. "Conservative" is now an ethnicity.
I'm an over 65 in the high-risk group FL resident. I have done every fucking frustrating thing to try and get the vaccine to no avail. I live in a predominately Dem. county and have no trouble believing DeSatanis is purposefully withholding the vaccine here. I also have no trouble believing DeS doesn't mind if folk like moi die prior to the 2022 election. He is a UTI that can't be cured.
The only reason I remember is that I am about Dan Patrick's age, and I was horrified at his remarks. He acted as if he would be willing to "sacrifice" himself, although we all know he'd be safe at home while the rest of us were dying.
Vanessa Baugh is my County Comissioner rep, and the Board of County Commissioners took a vote to expel her over this, and it was tied, But she cast the deciding vote to retain herself...
"The poll came during a scandal-ridden week for the board, which declined to remove Commissioner Vanessa Baugh as its chair, despite Baugh having brought national shame to the commission after creating a so-called "VIP" list (that included her own name) for COVID vaccinations, despite that the board had voted to use a random lottery.
Despite public protests calling for Baugh's resignation, the commissioner refused to step down. After voting 4-3 to keep Baugh as chair (commissioner Whitmore, Servia, and Bellamy voted to have her removed), the majority faction of commissioners Baugh, Van Ostenbridge, Satcher and Kruse, voted to get rid of much-liked county administrator Cheri Coryea in order to bring in an administrator who is closer to their "conservative ideology." https://thebradentontimes.c...
It is a gigantic area from I-75 0n the west Highway 64 on the north and University Parkway on the South.

"Lakewood Ranch is a planned community located in southeastern Manatee County and northeastern Sarasota County, Florida, United States consisting of approximately 31,000 acres. It is part of the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area."

DeSantis called Florida God's Waiting Room. It's ok if we old people say that, but not somebody in his 40's.
I think that was Dan Patrick.

Yep. Hard to keep the players straight without a scorecard.
And a waitress/hooker/ex-wife/paralegal with a heart of gold?
And our Queen, Stacy Abrams.
I want you to put the shitweasel on the stand.
Just about every time I come across the name DeSantis in a sentence, I expect to be angry even before the period.

And DeathSantis is fundraising off his fuckery.

I have been experiencing the same here, for my husband.
We try, but the assholes, often out number us. They are Fox guzzlers, and believe anything they are told.
Russian trolls have been floggging the antivaxx stuff for years.
