They should have used Attila quotes. Kelley Loeffler would approve https://uploads.disquscdn.c...Also from Attila: "Trample the weak. Hurdle the dead."

The police are to be honored if they live up to the high calling they need to have. If they are really putting their lives on the line for their community, they should be respected and well paid. If, however, they are putting their lives above the community, they deserve the ridicule, shame, and dishonor that they earn by violating their trust. I know many honorable police officers, but they are not honorable because they are forced to be. The ultimate failure is allowing mean and cowardly police to cover themselves in mantels of honor and bravery earned by others in order to excuse their failure and faithlessness.
I wish everyone would call out these assholes when they try to excuse this behavior of being the work of a few bad apples. They imply it's a small number who are a problem, and their limited numbers mean they aren't a problem. The entire quote is, "A few bad apples spoil the barrel." Every single bad apple must be immediately removed from the barrel, or every apple in the barrel will go bad.
FBI warned of white supremacists in law enforcement 10 years ago. Has anything changed?https://www.pbs.org/newshou...
I never actually correct anyone, I just harrumph (inaudibly, natch) to myself. May also die alone, unlamented. Checks out!
If dying alone is the price I must pay to bolster the sanctity of my mother tongue, then I will do so proudly.
upvote for his Curious George hat!

Oxford Commas, appropriate use of apostrophes, and subject-verb agreement or die!
Thank you. With Trump in the joke, it was too easily believed.
