The GOP and Trump have perfected the art of double-think, demanding strict adherence to "rules" they’ve gleefully torched. They insist on accountability for their enemies while excusing or outright celebrating their own rule-breaking. From undermining the justice system to defying constitutional norms, they weaponize laws as tools of convenience—enforcing them selectively to punish dissent while claiming victimhood when held to account. It’s not rule-following they champion; it’s the illusion of it, wielded to mask their own relentless pursuit of unchecked power.

AN OPEN LETTER TO JOE BIDEN

Trump turned pardons into tools of corruption, shielding loyal criminal allies, lawbreaking family members, and even himself—while stacking courts to "pre-pardon" his actions. In contrast, Biden’s pardon of Hunter represents a stand against the GOP’s weaponization of justice and their relentless proxy war on his presidency.

It is rather funny that Christie threw some shade at NJ since he was Governor of the state and seems to paint himself as “Mr. New Jersey”

Peugeots are a bit funky for my taste.

My wine-buying usually consists of picking what seems a reasonable price with the coolest label.

I like cheese.

Also too Macron married a significantly older woman, which stupefied Trump. Adding to his (DJT's) stupefaction: the Macrons seemed to love each other. Even (horrors!) find each other attractive.

Most don't remember this now, but Trump was/is confounded by a marriage he must consider absolutely against his own concept of "grab 'em by the pussy" natural law.

Oh yes, they SO do.

The ex and I have always been pretty quiet and always tried our hardest to speak our somewhat limited French, using our nicest accents, when visiting France... to the point that restaurant and hotel staffers would always guess that we were Canadian, refusing to believe that Americans could be either quiet OR polite.

On at least two occasions, waiters flatly refused to believe we could possibly be Americans until we showed them our passports.

The bad news is that Donald Trump is now solely motivated by anger and revenge.

The good news is that his stupidity makes his acts of revenge transparent and ineffective.

Most of the time. :-/
