Did I, now?

Because I could almost swear I spoke specifically about--and I quote--"people incapable of taking care of themselves," and you deliberately chose to misinterpret that as "all homeless."

"Homelessness is just a life choice"that is an really stupid statement, and a really stupidly broad brush

Not quite as deliberately cherry-picking it out of context to try and save face after you've realized you've stepped on the rake.

what "context" makes it less stupid?

The statement you're hopping up and down about is attributed to the fringe-lefties I cited in my original post.

This is obvious.

You are actually pretending to be illiterate or have a brain injury in order to cling to your self-righteousness.

And that's hilarious.

And with that, class is dismissed. Anyone following this conversation will readily see which of us is being deceitful.

I don't think all mental illness needs to look like mine (major depression/anxiety/ADD)in order to be legitimate, and I don't feel at all degraded by the idea of treating Q-loons as mental health patients. They need compassion, mostly, and intensive mental health treatment.

Well, one things for sure, he's going to have a hell of a time, selling that car. I doubt if even CarMax will take it.

Also, too, I have to agree, I believe this guy needs a good long stay in a straight jacket rather then jail.

Other articles I read on this indicated he was arrested & held for a couple days after DC, then similarly arrested and held for a couple days after Wisconsin. Only *after that point* were things discovered that made them decide maybe he needed to be away from society for longer than a weekend. Which no one here will be surprised to hear is likely not the treatment he would have received had he been a few shades darker.

"adding that he was "willing to die to fulfill this mission.""

But now that he's incarcerated, he's going to complain that he doesn't like the food or that he has a pre-paid Mexican vacation he needs to go on.

This is what I thought when Marjorie Green claimed she'd been 'allowed to believe' things that weren't true. If we try to stop you from believing things that aren't true, Marjorie, you scream about brainwashing, so I think this is all on you.

Remember what it was like after 9/11? I remeber taking my son to the airport to send him back to college. Well dressed 55 yr old white guy but when I stepped close (not up to) to the no cross line, the service guy put the barrel of his assault rifle in my face and was ready to go. Scary as shit.
