Funny how Scalia's "textualist" interpretation of the Constution invariably leads to decisons that are 100% consistent with his political views. Hypocrisy is an art form with this asshole.

Color me entirely unsurprised. There is no end to how fucking stupid they're wiling to let themselves seem in defense of their preferred authority figures. STRONG GOOD, WEAK BAD, DICK STRONG, DICK GOOD, ME LIKE DICK, DERP!

Does Cheney mention his key role in provoking it?

Strictly speaking, this experiment doesn't prove the existence of Hawking radiation, just that there appears to be the simulated equivalent of Hawking radiation in the acoustic simulation of a black hole. Good confirmation of the math, and thus good support for the theory, but not actual Hawking radiation.

I know it's still a few weeks before Black Friday, but now seems to be an excellent time to shop for 'bortions in Texas.

I don't think we have any apologies to make.

Meantime the NYT has a story out today about how our troops were repeatedly exposed to buried chemical weapons, in large part because the Cheney administration deliberately suppressed information about the first time it happened. And the second and third. Couldn't have anything to do with the fact these discoveries proved that Saddam had abandoned his CW program and made existing munitions (supplied by the Reagan administration under the oversight of one Donald Rumsfeld) unusable, right?

I was thinking that there'd be a black hole in place of Cheney's heart. It would explain so much.

Regardless of how embroiled the U.S. is in the region, Cheney expects a “mass casualty attack” at some point that will be even worse than the 9/11 attacks.

Why doesn't Big Dick should just say "Bring it on." Cuz that scares 'em, doesn't it?
