He claimed to be filibustering to try to impress his base as a Presidential candidate. Experts disagree. And you're off base here too. Most, if not all of us oppose the Patriot Act & support efforts to remove it entirely, or at least water it down.

If you actually care about lives, then you would realize that criminalizing abortion endangers more lives than it "saves"
