I figure with climate change, fire is a distinct possibility, and there are two nuclear plants within 50 miles of me, so I should be prepared to evacuate. Having important documents and some basic items in one place is a good idea.
Almost everything out there is prepper zombie apocalypse crap. I mean, what normal person needs to pack weapons and body armor? And the talk about multiple caches of weapons and food is just nuts.
I sincerely doubt that the cat and I will need to shelter in the wilderness and live off the land while fighting off the godless hordes. Those people are nuts and scary AF, I think they're looking forward to shooting "thugs and looters."

Liver transplant patients must prove they have stopped drinking themselves to death. Lung transplant patients need to prove they've quit smoking.
