She, like the rest of them is a snake. They say nice things and then turn around and do what they believe in, damn the law or the number of people they hurt. She doesn't care about the law because like Barr, Pompeo and other like them, religion is the determining factor in their lives. If they lived in the Middle East they would be mullahs enforcing sharia law, which in Christofascist land is exactly what they want here. If she gets on the court we have no recourse but to increase the size of the court

ACB also wrote in a law review article that Catholic judges (of which she is one) should recuse themselves from death penalty cases, since the official position of the Catholic church is DEATH PENALTY BAD.

Has she? Recused herself in death penalty cases?

at least they beat the evangelicals, they didn't think abortion was bad until the 1980s, this is an article from the baptist press in 1973

Religious bodies and religious persons can continue to teach their own particular views to their constituents with all the vigor they desire. People whose conscience forbids abortion are not compelled by law to have abortions. They are free to practice their religion according to the tenets of their personal or corporate faith. The reverse is also now true since the Supreme Court decision. Those whose conscience or religious convictions are not violated by abortion may not now be forbidden by a religious law to obtain an abortion if they so choose.

I think Canada tried this and because the death rate among women got too high they reversed themselves. If it happens here, then the death rate among women will go up until people here come to their senses about the biology of reproduction. I don't like this scenario either, so I hope she does not get the appointment. It will be death sentence for thousands of women.

Spot on. This is about gutting the ACA so they don't have to pay for health care for the undeserving poor (as they no doubt see them.)

How the hell do you conduct a Census count for current embryos (be they in utero or in a fertility clinic).

Because if they're people, we need to count them.

From what I've seen, they only seem to be reluctant to perform them on women whom they don't personally consider to have had what they think of as enough children.

Close.IMO it is still about keeping Americans dependant on their employer for healthcare so they can be poorly treated and progressively degraded into serfdom and slavery.
