“What happened to innocent until proven guilty?” is the perennial cry of a clearly innocent man.

"Strangely enough" sums up the GOP since...I don't know, whenever?

As with Donnie, this obviously isn’t a line in the sand for Republican voters; no one expected it to be. The scary possibility is if, as with Donnie, the people who DO consider this a bridge too far don’t feel motivated enough to vote against this evil man (almost said “sociopath,” but that’s a medical diagnosis I’m not qualified to make. EVIL, on the other hand, is a VERY obvious judgement call).

Ta, Robyn. I think I saw a short clip of Miller from his X diatribe and immediately got abuser vibes. The interview with Tapper, though, was positively radiating with “I’M AN ABUSER” energy.

Did everyone see the part where Miller went all MRA about how unfair the courts are to single dads?

Guys, this is why women don’t want to date MAGAts.

She took the daughter to the hospital which was against their agreement? Did I hear that right? The kid had a broken collar bone, of course you take her to the hospital.

I’m assuming they have a joint custody agreement that provides that each parent must contact the other regarding medical decisions, and that his ex’s failure to contact him was the alleged breach.

But yeah, hardly the point to make in this situation.

There is but one of a gajillion "tells" that this guy is a psychopath.

How does a two-year-old get a broken collar bone from a seat belt? That's not how that works at all.

Diane's Less Hostile Username's avatar

No, he's trying to deflect from his actions by pointing at some way she broke the agreement.

No surprise that when asked, Trump said “I feel badly for him”! Nothing about his wife or the innocent baby!

He's not good at feeling for anyone.

Ah yes, the "Christian" voters sure do love a man who keeps his little woman in place. It's effing sickening, and I share the hope that enough Ohioans repudiate him and the party of sexual assault and child abuse at the ballot box that he is stripped of at least elected power. May the justice system strip him of his freedom, after a fair charge, trial, and conviction by a jury of his peers.

This reminds me of a guy that ran for county commissioners here in my central NC area during the last election.

Very odd election. Guy had a nasty divorce back around 2000 and an NC liberal media outlet turned up evidence of physical abuse charges against him by his ex-wife. The local GOP rallied around him, calling it all lies and he himself threatened to sue anyone that dug up the records in Maryland.

His second wife, after standing beside him holding the Bible at his swearing in, flew off to Louisiana and is working at a job there. No one has seen her in the county since.

That baby-girl needs to be taken away from both her parents.

OT, but still election stuff.

The headline at Fox. I didn't bother reading it.

Republicans get the Democrat they wanted as socialist Abdul El-Sayed wins Michigan Senate primary

I can explain the emergence of humanity's self-awareness. Bunch of H. erectus females were sitting around the campfire rolling their eyes at each other at the behavior of the males. It was a discrete response between them to signal solidarity, evolved from earlier hominid females exasperation deflections. After a while some started rolling their eyes internally, so to say, when they were alone, and then suddenly realized they were talking to themselves. Voilà, self-awareness. The males caught on about 50,000 years later and developed their own version, based on sharing fermented fruit, but being forced to share with themselves when everyone else was too wasted to stay on a rock.
