Arizona Congressman Trent Franks had a chat this Friday with Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Everett Piper on the Family Research Council's "Washington Watch" program allllll about how much he totally hates abortion and thinks it is just about one of the most super evil things to have ever happened.
Whenever some shart-gargling stumpbrain politician makes the DEMONCRATS LOVED SLAVERY HURRR DURRR argument, I always wonder: are they really that stupid, or do they just think everyone else is? Looking at Trent Franks' face, I'm guessing the answer in his particular case is the former.
I'm from Louisiana and when I was a kid in the 1950s all of our our n***ers, excuse me, slaves, excuse me again, Negros liked paying the poll tax, taking literacy tests (Ha, they always failed!) and sitting in the back of the bus, etc., etc. Anybody who can't pass a test we designed to make sure they couldn't vote doesn't deserve to vote. And the poll tax - it was progressive. You paid more the darker you were so if you had to pay a poll tax that was your fault. Why hell, I never had to pay a poll tax. Anyway, that is my story and I'm sticking to it!
