He's just asking. [contextly_sidebar id="EyRLvWPCRexFfjVS0iQSWgkf6Zma5Mli"]It's that special holiday again, the one where Republicans get on Twitter and Facespace and say things like, "You know, if Martin Luther King, Jr. was alive today, he wouldn't be such a fan of The Blacks!" You think we are exaggerating? Here is
The moronic Republicans of the South ( Ex Dixiecrats ) should of trotted out token moron Ben Carson to say a few words on MLK....oh excuses the brainless brain surgeon never heard of him ...sorry.
It's a big "Well, Actually…" against those annoying reminders of white failure to live up to its promises, and a close cousin to the sort of false equivalency that is the bread and butter of Republican discourse. (False equivalency, aka "Both Sides Are Responsible," aka "Everybody Does It," drags the innocent down with the guilty, excuses the guilty, promotes apathy, and valorizes ignorance of the actual facts with a slathering of fake sophistication.)
The problem is that too often, such people confuse "non-violent" and "peaceful" for "soft." The man who utelized civil disobedience as an effective way to challenge the satus quo (something these idiots should ponder on while tbey are denigrating groups like Black Lives Matter for their "disruptive" and protest) was not some milquetoast feeb who backed down just because white people felt "inconvenienced" by his speaking out against racial injustice.
Also, "Republican" meant something slightly different in the 60s than it does today. It was only starting to emerge as the "silent majority" party and the party of racism. Dixiecrats were still kind of a thing. It doesn't really matter what his political affiliation was at the time; I can't imagine him looking at the state of the Republican Party today and saying "I wanna hang with those guys."
OK, fine. Your team can suck in its own league. If they do it right they will never go up against an AL team. Each October they can relax at home and watch the NFL Network. My team will have other plans.
9 in the field, 8 in the batter's box plus one all-but-guaranteed out?/s
they've evidently never heard of Napoleon, either, or how he led the "surrender monkeys" in conquering even more of Europe than Hitler. the only history they know is sportsball stats
sorry, still hate that asshole for his being one of the "Managers" of the impeachment of President Clinton, and one of the loudest howler monkeys in the Newtzi Party.. for this single redemptory act he gets a cookie, okay, but he is still a shitstain

And not even European sportsball stats. Because "football".Or maybe because it's not the olympics. I'm not sure.

Or at least whichever ones are left.....although I doubt there will be many racist reactionaries alive in 2065 in the first place. ;-)
Check your (literal) privilege! LOL. /joking
MLB.TV counts OR as home turf for the M's, which means I can't get their home games. I can live with that.

You don't hear it down here in Alabama. I suspect because it goes without saying . . .
... well, der Führer did make the Jews pay for the first one, so der Trümper is just following tradition.
Goddamit, Evan - I'm stealing "fuckpig," and it's going to be the name of my next band.
