Why bother with new evidence when you have someone ready to strap to a gurney? Missouri was all hot to execute a convicted murderer tonight, regardless of new DNA evidence that indicated the convict, Marcellus Williams, is probably not the killer. Williams was convicted fair and square in 2001, based on the word of an ex-girlfriend and a jailhouse snitch who both got reward money for their testimony, and despite the lack of any physical evidence, so the state of Missouri saw no reason to hold things up any further. But then, literally while we drafted the
I do think it's good they stayed the execution in light of possible new DNA evidence. God forbid they execute an innocent man. I'm glad they are going to look into this further. However, this still does not explain how Williams gained access to Felicia Gayle's laptop and personal belongings. Does he have an explanation for that? I've googled to see if the defense offered an explanation for this, but can't seem to find anything. Has anyone come across it?
If they get a conviction on a basis as wonky and weak ass is this why not just fucking give them life in prison? FFS. Why intentionally risk killing someone who is innocent? And may I add: fuckfuckfuck.
That is gorgeous! And, pedantry coming, is an erratic. A boulder that got put there by being picked up in a glacier a bazillion years ago. Congrats. π
Yes, it is awesome. Not too far away is Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park, where the Black River runs through a narrow rocky gorge full of boulders. Kids love to slide down the natural water slides and there is a campsite there. Another good local campsite near Elephant Rocks is Silver Mines State Park near Ironton, MO. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
How did the prosecution get away with striking almost all of the black prospective jurors? I assume they made up some lame shit like "He got a traffic ticket 10 years ago so he hates all cops" or whatever and the judge let them get away with it.
Being a tad pedanic here, I know, Dok, but while you mention the victim's last name, there is no reference in the story of her first. Yes, if I look at the links I'll find it, but for a moment, I thought it might be Crystal Gayle or Gayle King.
God forbid they execute an another innocent man.Why I am against the death penalty. He may be guilty of burglary or receipt of stolen goods, but murder? Not proven, as they say in the UK. There it is innocent or not proven.

A chuckle a minute from the chucklehead judge.
Holy fucking shit!
Thank fuck!

Pam Bondi is a criminal who should not be in office. She took a bribe to not investigate Trump University.

That is fucking awesome. I might actually have to go there.

I'd love to see a cartoon of that.
Mold doesn't grow on ice cream. Freezer burn would be the best you could do. Or else have it be ice milk.

Jury: He's blah. Guilty!

What's that? ... Oh, O.K., I'll shut up now. ; )

Lol, you're right. Ice crystals and nasty texture when it's been buried in the freezer for too long.
