I actually thought since so many people at the concert thought the shots were fireworks no silencer/suppressor would be needed. I watched a video excerpt online, and the shots did not sound menacing. (The bleeding probably was, though.)

If I go read the National Firearms Act and get myself a clue about what an assault rifle is, can we go back to the main point, which is that it seems like it ought to be far easier to vote than to acquire the means to kill a person, or will you have some other diversion that must be addressed first?

The NRA will make certain that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas....If 20 dead children at the Sandy Hook shooting didn't spur any change in America's obsession with guns, then nothing will.....ever. Sadly, dumbass USA has the president and congressional majority that it deserves.
