I shall explain. Sorry but you asked. We humans are tribal entities. We no longer fight our neighbors like we did 100,000 years ago when this was formed into every culture. Today, tribes of 350 million people seems almost impossible. No one wants to die over Mexico and Canada. Venn diagrams would be joke.So our tribes are local. Cities, sports teams, which we can sorta understand, is a big one.

Playoffs are the modern battles of war among tribes. Victory can be uplifting, rewarding, bring meaning to living itself. But especially cathartic, washing away decades, even generations of pain, agony, suffering, of past losses. That was Sat night in Western NY.But losing, again and again and again, is the opposite. Esp when hope runs high. It brings back all the pain, agony, suffering of past failures by your beloved loyal knights. Some in TX today are feeling the 1-15, and 2-14 seasons. When gawd talked to Moses. And to lose to a traditional rival from the '60s, who beat you then as well. In your own house. It could not be worse.

Me, I thought the Boys were good, but not real good. Not good enough. They got a lot of help the NFC East sucked green weenies. They did about what I thought. Not pinning it all on him, but I thought Dak should have played better. He had a chance to be the gawd of Texas. Failed. Hard to turn homey hype into yards and points. Sorry, more than you wanted.

Also, "conservative ideas" is an oxymoron, as the Oxi Moron in Chief should surely know.

we do that too - it takes the stress out of wondering what they want, and you don't end up with random things that make you question your loved ones sanity
