They're addicted to money. They behave exactly as addicts do.Mindless seeking of more, more, more of their drug, with no thought at all of the havoc they're wreaking in everyone else's life, and the damage they're doing to themselves and to the world around them. Until America stops seeing the ultra-ultra-ultra rich as admirable "fine American businessmen," and recognizes them as addicts with a disease, there's no cure for this.

Their bitching about how $20 billion to help disaster victims isn't paid for, but they had no problem passing tax cuts worth 100x as much... that weren't fucking paid for. If this isn't the GOP in a nutshell, I don't know what is. Heaven forbid they help people that aren't in the donor class, these fucking assholes

Only one of the three, Thomas Massie, has been in the House long enough (and he did vote for 'em). The other two were elected last year. But give 'em time; they'll vote for huge tax cuts eventually.

I dunno. Seems to me the specter of losing his immunity from prosecution before the statute of limitations runs out would be a powerful motivator to want another term.

Maybe his last trip abroad will take him to the Crimea, a fitting destination for a crime boss, where he may be planning to retire. Then he will know which is worse: impeachment or impalement.

Now if only all those voters in those states would go, "You know what? Fuck Republicans, they don't do shit to help anyone but themselves" when election day 2020 rolls around...

I don't think he is in the same reality as you and I. In his world, it is always possible to evade responsibility, to manufacture the Big Lie, hire the big lying lawyers.
