Anyone who supports cutting cancer research should be forced to walk a mile in the shoes of a stage 4 cancer patient. Or even their caregiver's. Knowing that a cure is out of reach, but (IF you're lucky) managing the cancer may extend your life in a constant stop/start cycle of trying new and progressively uglier treatments...until there's nothing left.
