Hey, they speak for lots of their oldster cult members who are afraid to use the internets cause they might break it or get confused or not remember their passwords or "I had to a computer at work every day and now that I'm retired, I refuse to use one again (real quote from a former customer)."

Spectrum just added some "news" channel here, American News Network or some such crap, on a highly sought after "lower channel" (18 here). Chris Cuomo lives!

And JFC there's Scientology on Channel 5. And evangelicals on Channel 2.

Meanwhile, my Manatee County government is on Channel 644. I get the palsy just typing it in.

Here's a different take. I own a modest condo apartment in a small complex. My HOA fee includes both cable TV and internet service (Sprectum). We negotiated a really nice package deal; I pay about half what I would pay directly to Spectrum.

As for cable TV, it's soooo easy to just ignore the channels you hate and enjoy the channels you like. Just like the internet.

I get your point, I'm fed up with pundits. But, most facts have some inherent bias. You'll never get a 100 percent bias-free source of information.

Depends on whose auto correct was used. Personally, as a pedantic grammarian, I like the hyphen. "Electronic" and "mail" are two words.

When I was an English major half a century ago I took a half-credit "Mass communications" course. I got videotaped on a U-matic, the only time in my life I was captured on "film." I'd give my left nut for that tape.
