He could have also JUST done a Google Search to determine "the last time a Republican won the Los Angeles mayoral race?" 1993.

Karen Bass "would have whipped him into stiff peaks and held the upside-down bowl over her head." A reference I can relate to. Beautifully written. I especially like the smoldering anger.

There's a lot to be said for not watching reality TV. Spencer Pratt is one of them.

Wonder if any person familiar with British slang ever pointed out to him that, just because his name is "Pratt", doesn't mean he has to act like one?

He's not exactly 'slumming it' in that trailer either. A new Airstream like that one starts in six figures, and the first digit isn't a '1'.

Instead, Nithya Raman took second place, which will pull L.A. to the left. Praise Rod.

WTF. This is not the informational piece on Nithya Raman that was requested.

The GOP has fully embraced "team asshole" under the guise of "assholes get shit done!" which while that may hold a kernel of truth what they really mean is "Our guys are racist as fuck! And we don't care, in fact that's how we like them, now that the most put upon class of Americans are Straight White Men we have to be assholes!" Narrator: (in the voice of David Attenborough) "Despite their protestations, no evidence supports the claim"

This is what happen when Party Discipline is enacted with an iron fist and vaccum brain. When the slightest deviation ofr orthodoxy (a constantly changing orthodoxy, at that) is cause for defenestration, you end up with a brittle, unreliable Party stucture, like Mao in the days of the Red Guards.

They will hold their power like wealthy peopl go bankrupt: Slowly, in fist and starts, then all at once, like in Hungary.

Orban had a couple decades to get to his end, and he was actually widely popular at the beginning.

Trump is shambolically trying to speedrun the whole Orbanization, while frantically trying to stuff his pockets from the public purse as fast as he can his movement has nothing but him.

Wow great article the real question is why did anyone vote for him! I didn't know anything about him until today being on the other coast. Now that I've learned just that little bit about him what could he possibly have run on that would begin to make up for any one of those videos or blurbs. It's all so disqualifying must be like me they didn't know anything about him either. Just voted for the R

The question is WHY there is another article here on that little conman.

Republicans tend for the craziest SOB on their ticket instead of someone competent.

they know they can’t win on policy, ideas, character, or leadership

so their only play is to claim they got cheated

Needless to say Pratt did not take his loss like a man. Oh no. Instead he posted a whiny diatribe like a true MAGA would.

"It is maddeningly easy to terrify establishment Democratic politicians into stepping rightward"

Sprinting. Sprinting rightward. Fast enough to make Usain bolt look slow.
