When I first heard this, I had a vision of a dimly lit room, with a bunch of diplomats sitting in high backed leather chairs, brandy snifters in one hand and cigars in the other, looking wide eyed at each other until one voice said softly to the group in a thick European accent "What ze everliving fuck are those eediots thinking?"
And in summary, they hate Obama so much that they're willing to destroy the credibility of the United States as a negotiating partner not just for now but for decades to come. Who's going to ever trust us to keep a deal now?

Republican Sens. Jeff Flake, Lisa Murkowski, Lamar Alexander, Dan Coats, Thad Cochran, Susan Collins and Bob Corker didn't sign the letter. Gitmo for the rest.
