I sometimes wonder if some of the bitterness coming from Russia doesn't stem from that. They sacrificed literally millions of people to stop the N*zis, and don't always get credit for having done so...

Once the kids get citizenship (this can only happen if the adoptive parents apply for it on their behalf), we send all of the kids and parents missing kids after being deported 23 and Me kits; then the kids can find their parents and sponsor them later. Or something...I have no idea how any of this works, but I do know a young woman my son went to school with who became a citizen (she was brought here as a child from Mexico) and after finishing college, was able to sponsor her mother and siblings. Why yes! She is a political activist and organizer for immigrant rights and certified translator now! She made it her career to help others in her families situation to get through the hoops of the immigration system. I hoped for a few years my son and this young woman would move from friends to married...
Unfortunately the US Army and USAF rarely share the pictures of the children they bomb, so I had to do with what was available. I spared you the REALLY gross pictures from Dresden too.
This is why I databased the address of everyone with a Trump sign in their yard or on their card. I pretty much covered a square mile around my house. I won't be stopping there with voting info.
