All these groups, and many more, have this country in a chokehold because the right panders to them because they are their base now and the left panders to them because they’re afraid of what might happen if we “upset” them and/or because we don’t want be seen as uncivil.
Unless we change tactics, we’re never going to be rid of their stain.
Maybe actually enforcing penalties for breaking the law would be a good start.
I can give you any number of examples where I live where local businesses refused to comply with COVID lockdowns and, instead of sending the state police to lock the doors and throwing the book at the owners , the Democratic state leadership did everything they could to appear to not be “too hard” on them.

I don't see the left "pandering." To what do you refer? And which tactics do you want to adopt, the same violent and vicious ones they use?
