Oh Evan, your writing gives me so much pleasure. I wheezy laughed at "that uncanny valley looking freak." Truer words, my friend.

''Mike Tyson’s people said wait, we thought this was just a birthday party, not a fundraiser. '

Tyson is one oF the most vile, evil, disgsuting persons in the world. A RAPIST WHO SHOULD'VE BEEN IMPRISONED FOR LIFE WHO ALSO BIT OFF PART OF SOMEONE'S EAR.

He even got his own animated cartoon series for which

FUCK Warner Bros. Animation, TNT, and Williams Street.

A prime example how this country will coddle famous people and let them get aay with things regular people might get imprisoned for life for.

This is the REAL America and part and parecl of why we can never have nice things.

What the bejezzus is wrong with RFK joonyer’s brain? If he actually held democratic principles and was a liberal, there is no limit to how far his name and legacy could have taken him. But you can’t fake human decency and values, or you can’t for long. He’s obviously not a liberal, and while he’s a tinfoil mad hatter, he’s not fully MAGA, so the GOP has no use for him either. For all their human faults, JFK and RFK were capable of inspiring people. They held beliefs deeply and could captivate people with their passion. People want to be inspired, lifted up, and filled with hope. People that can do that with their sincerity are pretty rare. Obama did it in 2008. RFK Jr. can barely give a prepared statement or interview without saying something utterly ridiculous. He fell way off the family tree.

He was an addict in his youth, and I'm afraid he damaged his brain from it.

Martin Sheen has been deeply blue forever, arrested like 60 million times for civil disobedience and anti-war protests, and was an important supporter of Cesar Chavez (as was RFK senior). Sheen could have said “I knew RFK, he was a good man, and you, Sir, are no RFK.”

Expand full comment

Does Martins Sheen know that RFK (under orders from his nepo brother) had FBI head J. Edgar Hoover investigate Martin Luther King, Jr. for alledgly being a Communist?

And that neither brother was that liberal? LBJ has 100 times more liberal than them.

Shame about the Wonkette non-party. That would've been epic. Could've been like a Who's Who reunion special, famous alums Zooming in from wherever they are, celebrity entertainment.

The show stopping number--a synth-pop zydeco adaptation of "Naked Vegan Baby Buttholes".

Nothing says man of the people like a venue in Indian Wells, California, a town that screams DEI.

US census 2000:

96.3% White

63 years old Median Age

Median income for a household in the city $93,986

Is that an accurate snapshot of the RFKJ Party?

96.3% White, Indian Wells. That about says it.

Yeah. Had to empty the place of actual Indians first.

Let it be known far and wide that Substack's very own Jessica Reed Kraus (aka Houseinhabit, aka Grande Dame of Disinformation, aka Princess of Propaganda, aka Nitwit of Narcissism).....works for the PAC(s) that supports RFK JR. and that is planning this event. She's never disclosed her association (or employment) with Daphne Barak and her husband's PAC, but she's been hustling to shred all sense of morality or truth in pushing both RFK and Trump agendas. (red card - FEC violation!!) She's been sharing this celeb-attendee list all over, turns out she can only buddy up with D-list anti-vax "celebs" after all her BS.

SO, in case you couldn't tell by all the rapist-supporting, SA-victim blaming, online bullying, "woke"-bashing that she spreads, she's a paid POS shill. Or "Director of Social Media":

“…the campaign had “no knowledge of who is attending and can’t confirm or deny anyone’s participation, either as entertainment or as a guest.”

“That’s what we meant, we were gonna hire Martin Sheen as ENTERTAINMENT, not as a guest. He was gonna do that thing where he takes off his coat all fancy, or puts it on, or whatever. And then Mike Tyson was gonna punch him. But now, well, never mind. You’ve spoiled it for everyone, we hope you’re happy.”

At this point, would any of RFK Jr's family members attend a birthday non-fundraiser party for him?

Expand full comment

The next step is for him to announce his running mate: Harvey, the giant invisible bunny.

Expand full comment

Harvey hangs out at the Marina on TV Highway, just west of milepost 61. There's a "Don't worry, I am not leaving" sign next to the construction zone. In the spirit of service, I will seek to amend the sign to say "not running in 2024."

Harvey has publicly refuted any suggestion that he’d run with RFK Jr., playfully declaring “I would never be seen with RFK Jr.” :)

So if I understand aright, they issued invitations and then acted like these people's merely receiving the invitation is the same thing as accepting it? Is that a thing now? The post-truth era must have entered an entirely new and exciting phase.

Expand full comment

The Trump era began with inauguration-gate, where Trump got started right away with lying to the American people to protect his fragile ego. Man, we were all so young and naive then. Trump marched Sean Spicer out there to make a pointlessly absurd claim about attendance. It was obvious from photos that fewer than half had attended the swearing in of El Stinko. But who are you gonna trust, Trump or your lying eyes? With the internet and social media so vulnerable to misinformation, we are living in the early stages of a post-truth country, maybe world. Until we acknowledge how imperative the truth is in maintaining a peaceful democracy by creating huge penalties for platforms that publish misinformation, things will get much worse than RFK’s imaginary friends.

Maybe Rob Kennedy should have some other Kennedy's Xcrete for him that he is also supporting Joe Biden as his excuse for not going to his own birthday party.
