If pro-natalist policies actually worked, we wouldn't have half the world with aging and/or declining populations. They've all been tried before. If any of them worked, Italy or Japan or South Korea would be using them now. People simply get comfy and decide they don't want three kids much less need five kids to work the fields.
OT: The Republican Party, lacking any real achievements to stand on, are trying to make this mid-term election about Capitalism v Socialism, but all voters are worried about is the increasing costs they're facing because of the GOP's tariffs and wars.

There's no reason for me to give them any grace or doubt here.
If a baby dies, I am certain they would say it died for a reason and that reason is that it was not "the fittest". Therefore, to them, it's good the child died.
And we know they view women as non-persons who are disposable, so bonus for them if the mother of their child dies especially if they were getting sick of her or she was getting "old" (above 25) since that frees them up to start scouting church youth groups for wife two.
