That's why no one is still alive who ever read that drivel. They all felt compelled to visit Dr Smith and Dr. Wesson 'cause they were so inadequate. Full disclosure. I read 10 pages once and my eyes kept drifting to my pistol just for having read the first 9. I didn't feel inadequate. Just stupider than when I started.

I read both Atlas and Fountainhead, just to make sure that capitalism WASN'T the answer. The rape scene in the latter confirmed my beliefs.

It pissed me right off when I was 15. When they ended up at the house in the wilderness, the man goes and looks at the books, and the "Golden One" (gag) went to look at the clothes. It was then I threw the book against the wall.
