Rick Perry ain't gonna meet with no "president" of these here Yoonited States just to have a photo op-pur-tunity on the tarmac, no sir! If'n he meets the "president" it ain't gonna be for huggin' an' smoochin' like that ol' pantywaist Chris Christie. No, he is gonna meet with the "president" for REAL only, sittin' down as peers while Rick Perry splains the border, and Rick Perry is so adamant about this, he done made sure to release a statement about how he told the "president" to stick his photo opportunity where the sun don't shine. (That would be "in Rick Perry's butt," Bob.)
If you missed Rachel Maddow's piece (7/7/14) on the Texas fertilizer factory that blew up, flattening a middle and a high school and killing 15 people - check it out! No surprise Texas has no state fire code. Perfectly legal to store tons of the same stuff that blew up the Oklahoma City Federal office building.
A year after this preventable disaster, the attorney general of Texas, Greg Abbott, made the only legislative change to existing law. He ruled companies don't have to disclose they have dangerous chemicals (although this is required by Federal law). $100,000 of Koch campaign money didn't have anything to do with this ruling, of course.
Texas needs Wendy Davis! And watch the Maddow piece - outstanding reporting!
"A thoughtful discussion"? Yeah, right. Try Googling the phrase "Rick Perry thoughtfully" plus anything, and there's only been one hit, anywhere on anything. On the other hand, "stupid Rick Perry" gets 57,100 hits.

I thought it was Charles Koch.
Rick, how about a photo opportunity, with Barry, at the ranch that you frequent?
I liked Perry better when he was high on back pills.

Will Grover Norquist attend the convention? Plenty of scope for puns if he does.
