Last week, I attended our school's "Stop the Bleed" training. The first 5 police to arrive on the scene will step over the dead and injured to find and take out the shooter. The next 5 will accompany the EMS people to attend to the wounded. It may be 10 minues before paramedics arrive, yet a person can bleed out in 3. However, like you said, rule #1 was not to put yourself in harm's way.
This is why his political career didn't last long, he's an idiot. If CNN pays him anything at all they are committing criminal stupidity in the 2nd degree.
Let's all just be very very quiet about this, play it cool, and hope that DOTUS does indeed answer questions under oath with Mueller. Because we all know how that story ends.
