Umm, Doktor Zoom, 12:00 a.m. is 12 noon, not midnight. So if that's what the law actually says, then officials should be sworn in at noon on the Tuesday, not at midnight on the Monday. Very surprising, with all the shenanigans alleged in this article, that there should not have been a court ruling on the subject. There shouldn't be ANY reason for confusion or second guessing.
Terd Crudz has only a single term in the US Senate.Since I am not a Rethuglican myself,I still don't understand how Crudz defeated his opponent in the primary,a man called David Dewhurst,who had been in politics in Texas for many years.Maybe that's why someone so pathetic as Crudz could win....he jumped right on The Tea Party crap while it was big.Then when he got to Washington(no such thing as a Democrat who could beat him),he immediately began running for President,and in the main caused a shutdown BY HIMSELF,whence he then stood on floor of Senate and read "Green Eggs And Ham" as if it were a dramatic play.He has in no way represented the state,and I am very much hoping that Beto O'Rourke will take him out in Nov.He makes me ashamed to say I live in Texas,even more than John Cornyn,who is bad enough himself. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
