Same here, although I will confess I am 100% on the mask-wearing.

I think we should demand smoking sections be brought back on airplanes. Yes, smoking is a public health hazard, but apparently that’s no longer a justification to ban something on airplanes.

Guess how many SC Justices have had no more trial experience than Mizelle.

There won't be any more mandates or shutdowns. The cringing politicians are too terrified of reich wing violence.

Just expect sick people and collapsing supply chains. And permanent brain damage that will truly result in the Idiocracy future.

Culture has given up, yes. Just "Meh, so I'll die, whatever. Then I don't have any more meetings/crappy customers."

I swear a city could get nuked, and most people just be "Meh, I'll go to the other wal-mart instead of the one there. What's on Tiktok?"

The mandate was set to expire in a couple weeks so it's not like she overturned Roe vs. Wade. All this really does is make radical right-wing nutjobs orgasm on their keyboards.

My feeling is this: wear a mask if you want to. If you don't wear a mask, you're probably either a fully-vaccinated person and are therefore substantially protected from COVID-19's effects, or you aren't vaccinated and are playing with your life. If you're in the second category then that's your problem, not mine. Good luck!

See my chart below. If your seatmate is contagious and unmasked on a transcontinental, you're still getting it.

I worked in an office with locked doors and our only interaction with the public was by phone, email, letter, and fax. We still weren't allowed to wear athletic shoes because it wasn't professional. Everyone had to come in, change their shoes, and change back at the end of the day.

Masks are a multiplier. You in N-95, them in a surgical mask, 5 hours transmission time. You in an N-95, them in nothing, 2.5 hours transmission.

If they're next to you on a long flight, you're still getting COVID.

I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell ya!

As others have pointed out, we still have to take off our shoes to go through airport security because 1 guy tried and failed to light a shoe bomb. We still can't take liquids through security for the same reason. Everyone is seemingly fine with this even though a lot more people have died from COVID than airline-related terrorism. It makes zero sense.

This is extremely unsurprising and the people celebrating the end of the mask mandate should get used to having a lot of flights cancelled.

Worked in a school as a teacher where athletic shoes weren't allowed because it wasn't "professional" (to be on your feet all day and comfortable).

My state just passed a Constitutional Carry law. No training or permit needed for concealed carry. What do you think would happen to a mall here if they tried to confiscate someone's gun before they were allowed to enter?
