I see handwringing here about the possibility of our side playing dirty like the GOP does. That it will make us as bad as them. No it won’t. We aren’t racist, misogynistic dirtbags who have lost touch with reality. If we want to win our leadership needs to to whatever the fuck it takes to win.
People need to accept that this is a war, not a skirmish. Once that reality becomes clear, then the rules of war can be assessed. But, until that happens, it’s too easy for people to deny an inevitable finality if they refuse to fully fight. Not negotiate, not bargain, not forgive for the sake of civility or love of the system as it exists in theory. Fight like you know you have no choice. And, no, voting ain’t gonna be enough, IMO. Shit is gonna get dirty fast, and probably violent.
Trump has destroyed the careers of many military and civil servants who thought of themselves as patriots of the highest order. The lines are blurred forever. The definition has changed and we must change with it. Even if it goes against what we were taught very early on. This is how we achieve independence. It's why we call the Constitution a living document.
Robert Mueller's Report was a mere excuse and form of gratuity to America.....never was a real effort to find the criminals who heisted the 2016 Election....
Rather found criminals that were already under investigation for being criminals inside the Trump campaign.
