Lil' Ronron, in his elevator shoes, doing his very, very best to be A Real Man.

Sorry, little man, you'll always be a short-arse, you'll always be a loser. Your only pleasure will be spite, your only comfort will be bigotry. Enjoy your 15 seconds of fame. In a decade know one will even remember your name

I have to say, Robyn’s “sometimes you have to save people from themselves” is a great one-liner in support of governmental regulations.

What is DeSatan trying to prove? He’s term limited, so can’t run for re-election as Governor. His Presidential campaign was a spectacular implosion that left a black hole in its wake.

Where is he planning to go from Tallahassee? Or has he simply decided that the cruelty is, indeed, the point? What a nasty piece o’ crap he is.

He's still in the republican party, he has to immediately punish any municipal that dares to care about human lives. It's just a reflex at this point.

Josh Hawley already told us what the Republican plan is.

In order to retain power of the minority, they will make their states so hellish that everyone who can moves out, leaving only their own bitter fans who are already convinced it is those damn liberals making it all bad.

He said it in an interview. The press nodded their heads like that was a normal thing to say

"They may think they’re saving a lot of time and money not letting their workers take water breaks or providing any shade, but they’re being set up for lawsuits..."

This is the point. Without statute, the only remedy an injured worker would have is the courts. Way more onerous than filing a complaint with the Florida equivalent of OSHA, and beyond the financial reach of most workers.

And these fucks count themselves as 'Christians'......as an Atheist, I do believe in good and evil, just not in the biblical sense. These monsters are just pure, unadulterated, evil....... IF I'm TOTALLY wrong about this whole invisible sky 'Savior' thing.......and these fucks end up owning up to the Great and powerful Oz.......I'm pretty sure He/She will not be inviting them in for the local wine festival and barn dance.........more like a BBQ in a WHOLE DIFFERENT locale.......

I am an atheist too, but I subscribe to the Jim Casy philosophy (from memory): "There ain't no good and there ain't no evil, there's just things folks does. Some of it's nice, and some ain't so nice, and that's all a man's got a right to say."

PS, we are not wrong.

My 'evil' part was formed during the 'Southeast Asia War Games' (silver medalists).......but ya.....what the hell else can you say than "there's just things folks does"........

I just roll my eyes when people toss the word "evil" around as some kind of presence apart from what people do. It's not some kind of free-floating entity.

I was in the Army about 7 years after the end of your festivities, and the most "evil" I had to contend with was my truly nuts first sergeant. And he was just crazy (real deal, IG removed him).

Don't be silly. The people like Ms Gonzalo working outside in the heat and humidity are non-white and/or poor. Them dropping dead while working hard to make money for wealthy and/or white bosses is just an added perk as far as DeSadist and his supporters go.

Out capitalism formed out of slavery, so yeah. Not so much with the concern for workers.

Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are just two fucking little psychotic, sadistic peas in a fascist pod

Perhaps Ron and Jay and the rest of the GOPer caucus would like to work in broiling heat all day. I have. The reason why road crews look like they're not working is due to the unrelenting heat on the road that most folks never get to experience. One job I had early in my joke of an engineering career was soil density tech on a road crew. I used to guzzle a 3L thermos of ice water down a day and still feel dehydrated.

Pretty sure Ronnie and the rest of the GOPers would get heat stroke before noon.

With me it was picking up rocks in a field and moving sprinkler pipes by hand all summer in the high desert of Central Oregon. Yes, HOT.

“The intent of the bill is to ensure that employers have the ability to govern themselves and make sure they create the best working environment for their employees,” said bill sponsor Sen. Jay Trumbell (R-Panama City).

I assume that best working environment is work 'til you drop.

It's hard to understand the mind-set of someone who would deny workers water and rest breaks during 100 degree weather. Then you see that the restriction is on local governmental units from passing these humane laws. So apparently it's more important to deny local communities agency then it is to pass reasonable laws about hard work in hot weather,

It's just evil people, END. OF. STORY.

Also too, requiring humane treatment by law levels the playing field for all companies with employees working outside in the heat. Sure, prices might go up a tiny bit, but the competition has to raise their prices too.

Can't help but picture him on a horse with a whip and mirrored sunglasses. Of course, this would mean he'd actually have to be out in the heat himself, and we know that's not going to happen.
