I think Ron also terribly underestimates Americans' affection for the Bahamas. That was a really bad example for him to use. I mean, I realize that most Bahamians have rather darker skin pigmentation than Ron, but they are universally considered to be very kind and friendly and have very very beautiful islands and beaches.
