Here in Kentucky, where Gov. Andy Beshear, DEMOCRATIC, is saving the whole fucking world with twice-daily briefings with SCIENCE, constant testing and quarantining assholes who tested positive but refuse to self-isolate, the Pumpkin Traitor's chances in November are way too fucking good. If COVID-19 follows the 1918 pattern, it will disappear by June, giving trump a huge victory to ride to re-election. COVID will be back 10 times worse in the fall, but by then it will be too late. He is NOT defeated; do NOT stop fighting!
Gods, Stephen, I hope you're right. But stupidity is everywhere these days, and an awful lot of Americans still believe everything they hear on Fox, even if it directly contradicts their own experiences. If there's any hope it's that the tumbling price of oil distracts the Russians from mucking about with the election.
I went to CVS yesterday. The shelves were bare and the manager said it had 'been crazy.' Did not go to Wal-Mart but my FB feeds say it is stripped bare, too.
Went to Safeway (I like that they hire the handicapped at union wages to bag groceries) and they had pallets of toilet paper out front. A woman in the parking lot was grousing that the Safeway manager had allowed a customer to buy 10 cases of hand sanitizer.
My takeaway? Sell your Safeway stock for whatever you can get. people won't shop there even during these End Times.
Would that the orange bloviating reverse-Dyson were being seen as the con he is, but alas, the dumbf@cks on my various social media are heralding his management of the crisis, direct from FOX.
If they aren’t affected, they’re going to continue to think FOX was right, and those as yet unaffected are saying as loudly as they can that this whole thing is overblown.

I just read that a federal judge blocked that SNAP rule change, so that domino at least won’t fall for now.
