60 Minutes would have a phenomenal lineup if they added Haley Stevens to the mix. Truly, Must Not See TV.

Ta, Gary. Anyone, let alone Douchethat, trying to catch off guard someone as brilliant as Dr. El-Sayed has been smoking the bad stuff. Bari Weiss's See B S news has been on life support already; it's time for someone to pull the plug.

Why does Douthat look like he smells like beef and cheese?

Relevant, regarding our dear media:

"I want the safety and bodily autonomy of other people to always be a higher value than emotional detachment and objectivity. The value of being neutral depends entirely on what you're staying neutral about."

-Olivia Waite, quoted by Marisa Kabas after being fired by the NYT for reposting criticism of the paper

What I like about Abdul is he questions their bullshit and doesn’t put up with it.

Conservative media depends on a kind of kayfabe that only works if you go along with it.

Too many democrats aren’t savvy enough to say, “My guy, you don’t expect me to go along with that bullshit…do you?”

Douchehat is person that you NEVER get in line behind for the buffet.

Hamilton & The Crew's avatar

Or get in line behind at the latrine.

"How? How does anyone manage to get shit on the ceiling?"

2Cats2Furious's avatar

Sweet!! The line at my early polling place was even longer 2 weeks ago when I voted in Houston, but my cane allowed me to skip the line. I thought about driving by today when I went to pick up groceries, but I’m comfortable that my county had over a million voters during the early voting period. Turnout is breaking records.

Antifa Commander's avatar

Right on! 𝙃𝙤𝙤𝙠 '𝙚𝙢!

Thesaurus Wrecks 2547's avatar

Why doesn’t Douthat ask the Trumps why they took $2 billion from the Saudis?

2Cats2Furious's avatar

That would be uncivil towards Republicans, and we can’t have that.

AJ Milne's avatar

Douthat’s one of those guys that just exudes embarrassing. Like I figure he could be across the street from you, impossible to see because of traffic or whatever, and you’d just know: there is cringe in the air. A powerful aroma of sub mediocre loser. As tho a billion souls cried out in oh geez who invited him and made excuses to leave the soirée.

Emil Muz's avatar

So we're back to Saudi Arabia=bad today? Why can't Republicans make up their mind on a simple idea?

Hamilton & The Crew's avatar

For Republican'ts, making up a mind is like kneading shit.

Belle la Bête f/k/a Girl Guide's avatar

Objection: assumes minds previously in evidence.

I watched the whole thing the other day. It was beautiful! El Sayed buried the motherfucker!

Pauly2coffees's avatar

I hope he brought up the fact that Douthat’s boss was trying to dig up dirt on him.

No

Noooooooo

I have two GOOD interviews with the doctor

One with Hasan Minhaj

"Who's Afraid of Abdul El-Sayed?"

One with Vic Mensa

"When Money Talks, The People Pay"

https://youtu.be/-Qpq-XQpk1Y?si=La-2uYi4M3HzQHG6

2Cats2Furious's avatar

I love Hasan Minhaj. He’s great.

I haven't had time to watch his show since he interviewed Governor Moore but I def wanted to make time for this

OT, but amazing. So, apparently Trump didn't spend a farthing of his own money to help other Repubs, not that the GQP wasn't swimming in zillionaire money anyway. https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2026/11/3/800121590/elections/shocker-trump-hasnt-spent-a-dime-to-save-the-gop/. I predict that a lot of Republican candidates are going to be ready to kill him when they get a chance.

Pauly2coffees's avatar

If Trump came across a dime on the street, he would force one of his underlings to pick it up for him.

Richard S's avatar

And insist it was a quarter.

BillEGoatSmile's avatar

And then he went 'campaigning' in their states by doing increasingly insane, hateful, word-salad, men's ass-loving speeches to boot! I'm sure that was sooooo helpful.

2Cats2Furious's avatar

I love that Trump did like 6 rallies in Texas for Ken Paxton, where he proceeded to comment every time about how gross he thinks Paxton is.

Maybe Haley Stevens could endorse Paxton today, so we can guarantee a Talarico victory.

Elviouslyqueer's avatar

Accurate. Witness this dispatch from Louisiana:

>>[Letlow] has run a low-key campaign, granting few interviews, refusing to debate Davis and holding small meetings with select audiences behind closed doors. In recent weeks, in a sign of the president’s unpopularity, Letlow has rarely mentioned Trump on the campaign trail. <<

Apparently there was a tele-rally on Monday night with Pennywise but there was zero publicity about it leading up to or following it.

Flashman's avatar

There used to be a so-called "Rose Garden Strategy," where the POTUS stayed home and said stentorian, presidential type things. Apparently, Trump took a different route this year. For that matter, there used to be a "Rose Garden."

Belle la Bête f/k/a Girl Guide's avatar

Nominative determinism strikes again. Letlow lays low.

They'll "kill" him only after his political career is already dead. One way or another.

"What a Vote for Abdul El-Sayed Means"

Blah blah blah: "you are antisemitic if you vote for him"

To be honest I skimmed the article because I knew it was going to just a bunch of baseless accusations and demands that he apologize for the actions of some other person.
