If I ever got discouraged while in law school, I would look at those TV lawyers on the back of the phone books and think, THOSE GUYS DID IT, so can I.

Hey, can Mr. Goat travel? Holly's out of town for a few weeks ...her sister died in Georgia then she has to go to Pittsburgh to see her doctors (her RA is getting really bad).

So you and Mr. Goat can have the bed and I'll sleep on the couch. Come out for the weekend.

Speaking of the Clinton travesty, I saw a little bit of the CNN special on impeachments in history, and I must say that seeing Newt in 1994 or whatever year it was, was an unpleasant experience.

In my defense I live near the San Diego Zoo and animal park. I grew up watching cheetahs wander around with Golden retrievers like that was just a cool accessory if your parents would buy a dog not adopt a mutt. If your parents loved you they bought you a cheetah encounter and you could get up close and personal with the dog and glance at the cat out of the corner of your eye. My parents weren't rich so they didn't love me enough to pay for that. https://media0.giphy.com/me...

Lucky! I got to visit the San Diego Zoo once as a teenager. I thought SD was the most beautiful city on the planet. One of the greatest trips my dad dragged the family on was the 1984 Olympics. He planned that trip for at least 2 years, and the ticket prices were outrageous, so we saw the finals of a lot of sports that weren’t popular then but are today, like soccer and volleyball. It was one of those trips that we whined incessantly about while it was happening, but later really appreciated.

We went up to LA and saw soccer and the weird women's gymnastics with the pennant on the end of a stick and balls they danced with. It was weird but then the AC kicked on and the fluttery tissue paper kept getting blown to the floor. I'm pretty sure that was at UCLA. We saw some of the track and field at the coliseum and BEST of all we went out locally here and watched the cross country portion of the 3 day eventing. That was super cool. I'm almost excited for the Olympics to come back whenever that's planned but I suspect now you won't be able to get tix to anything unless you've recently bribed an Olympic official.

That’s so cool. I remember seeing the very early rounds of diving (errybody in love with Greg Louganis in 1984), beach volleyball, women’s VB finals, soccer finals, some track & field, and the Closing Ceremony. My family is from Burbank, so half of the trip was visiting relatives in OC and Laguna and touring my dad’s old stomping grounds. I think we went to Disneyland, too. That was some hella patriotic shit, that trip. I was so in love with California.

Right now, the FBI is so far up the Chucklefucks' asses, they're getting high off the reek of aftershave, hair gel, and half-digested pumpernickel. The government has info from dozens of phones and bank accounts and is already running it through a taint team. I do not like these two sentences together.
