That anyone listens to Giuliani about anything could only happen in the worst of all possible timelines. How the fuck did we get stuck here?

We went to the US AF museum in dayton on sat for their 50th anniversary shindigs and the lady scientist I spoke to said that many people ask her how they faked the moon landing. I asked how many people ask how they photoshopped the pictures of the earth--you know the round ones--and she said she doesn't get too many of those.

Yet.

Giuliani is still in the news? I thought he got fired for constantly making an idiot of himself on Fox.

Making an idiot of yourself on Fox is a feature, not a bug.

Anybody involved with the Ukrainian Nazis deserves everything they get. As does anybody who has anything to do with Giuliani. So this is perfect. Can everybody lose?

And make no mistake. The Ukrainian junta are Nazis. Not "neo-," not "crypto-." They run around carrying pictures of Stepan Bandera. About the first thing they did was make his birthday a national holiday, in case anybody was unclear that they are Nazis who intend to exterminate everybody on religious, ethnic and political grounds. Fortunately they're also completely incompetent. But absolutely, the US has earned the enmity of everybody in that part of the world for our part in installing those maniacs in power as part of the Zbigniew Brzezinski dream of irritating Russia.

Don't expect too much from the FEC anyway. It is set up to have a 3-3 split on any really partisan issues. Another problem is that currently, only 4 of 6 seats are filled, and those people are serving long after their terms expired, so the split now would be 2-2. With 2 being Republicans, one independent, one Democrat. And no more than 3 commissioners can be of the same party even when fully staffed. So most likely, if they actually investigated this, it would be at best a tie vote, which drops the matter.

I have this movie script in my head where a couple of prosecutors bring in a white board and mark squares with number of years in jail, starting at 200. For each name he names, with evidence, he gets a square knocked off, until he's at the minimum of say, twenty years, and that square's for Trump. Name it and claim it, Jeffrey.

And it goes WAY down.

Rudy squandered what had been-- for the wealthy people of Manhattan, but not so much for the rest of us-- a stellar reputation based on doing nothing terribly wrong during the run out of 9/11. Now he is pretty much seen-- except by trumpites (who only believe and do what they are told to believe and do)--as a douche bag with a dubiously legal past and a predictably questionable present.

it is Rudy's core competency.

And they made their collaborationist veterans the equal of the Soviet veterans who defeated fascism.

Finally Foggy Bottom went a color revolution too far. Funny how we don't hear how about how about and prosperous the Ukraine is, untroubled by the gang violence of undisciplined private militias like the fascist Azov Battalion....
