Whitewater was an influence campaign by a few far right rags and it got the media hooked for most of the 1990’s.
I’d have tolerated it, if a new standard of shady business deals prior to running for office was on the table, but they ignored all of Bush, Jr’s failed businesses, questionable use of eminent domain for the Ranger’s new stadium, and treated Trump like a self made man.
Two journalists got a clue.
I am not sure, if the senior DC press will ever learn.
