If your name was "FIFA," you wouldn't seem very butch either.

The first rule is to know what kind of war you want to have. Putin wanted a quick "liberation" and regime change. Thats the war he was ready for. But in warfare your enemy always gets a vote and Ukraine voted otherwise. What you're seeing now is Putin's course correction to a different kind of war which won't have been as thought through and which can go badly wrong for both sides.

Yes I believe you are correct.

As John Oliver pointed out last night, when the corrupt FIFA wants nothing to do with you know you have gone too far.

Wow. I was born in 62 and we did not do that. Although maybe that’s because I was in Canada. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t know if Canadian’s in the 50s did that. (Cause my parents were Yanks.)

Is it just me or is Europe going to regret not having NATO forces step in sooner?

I recall reading their army in Afghanistan had basically become dysfunctional. Terrible morale and lots of drinking.

It sure does. I wonder what younger people are making of older folks over 40 making jokes about wanting to be where the blast hits. I remember that shit from when I was a kid and young adult. 😟

Apparently the Russian army has tactical field nuclear weapons.😳 Little ones.

The Russian people need to rise up and take their country back.

We did this until I think I was just starting middle school. Then we didn't do the under the desk stuff any longer. We still did the tornado drills which were done separately, typically right about now when spring tornado season starts here (KY).

You know how Putin's always shown with a huge distance between himself and his generals? He's worried about assassination.
