Both seemed convinced it shouldn’t—and wouldn’t—happen. Bigger question: isn’t off shore drilling far more expensive (not to mention dangerous) than drilling by other methods?
I remember getting tar on my feet from the beaches of Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. It would only come off with fingernail polish or paint thinner. Anything with acetone. :P
