Sad Trombones For Corey Lewandowski
If only there were some sort of mocking sound effect for this
Get ready for some whining about free speech. Former Trump campaign manager and reporter-assaulter Corey Lewandowski is getting some consequences for mocking a 10-year-old girl with Down syndrome who was taken away from her mother by ICE. Lewandowski was unceremoniously dropped by his speakers bureau after the June 19 appearance on Fox News, the poor oppressed dear.
CNN has the deets on Lewandowski's being booted from one source of Wingnut Welfare:
Leading Authorities, Inc., one of Washington DC's top speakers bureaus, severed ties with Lewandowski on Wednesday, a source familiar with the matter said. His name no longer appears on the bureau's website.
Speakers bureaus like LAI handle speaking gigs for notable political and media personalities, which can be a lucrative business. Speakers can net five- or even six-figure checks for one engagement.
Man, talk about politically-correct stifling of a guy just because he dismissively made a "wah-waaah" noise as another Fox panelist said, "I read today about a 10-year-old girl with Down syndrome, who was taken from her mother and put in a cage."
It's all very unfair to Lewandowski, who later insisted he was making fun of dumb liberals who think such stories are sad, not the girl herself:
Lots of Fake News today. I mocked a liberal who attempted to politicize children as opposed to discussing the real… https: //t.co/o0P7QC0WgC

(Yeah, lying about Obama, too). As for the girl herself, she's really beside the point, as Lewandowski explained on Fox Wednesday. Asked if he might need to apologize for being so dismissive toward the girl's plight, Lewandowski clarified that the real outrage is developmentally disabled children allowing their parents to break American law:
This is on the parents, not on the children. And if your parents are doing something that you're putting your children in harm's way, then shame on you [...]
An apology? I owe an apology to the children whose parents are putting them in a position that is forcing them to be separated?
Instead, the alleged human being explained, the only people who deserve an apology are the Americans who've been murdered by illegal aliens, who are apparently deploying little disabled girls as assassins.
Things keep getting worse for Mr. Lewandowski -- after being dropped by LAI, he very nearly had to be hospitalized when he choked on a red herring.

I just want to see him and all the rest of Trump's crew lined up, then each has to take a straight shot from Mike Tyson.
