Only redistribution if you take from people who have a lot and give it to people who don't. The other way around is free enterprise.

why on earth would we want to stop the considiots base from dropping their money down these black-hole dry wells?

Do you WANT that other 90% of the monies going into real campaigns, real issue ads instead - where they might be used to productive effect for those candidates?

let them go on pissing their diminishing pensdion dollars away on theirt fantasies of The Goob Doctor magically healing UhMuhrKa through shrewd and timely application of one of his tradermark bent-brain double-clueless half-slogans or of Holy Father Rick Santorum ascending dead-saint like to Throne of Purity from which he shall fatwah forever against abortion, sluttery, sluts and slutty abortion sluts (and drugs (and unruly Nie-Blanks))

Seriously, stomach-turning and cringe-inducing as this particular Long Con may feel to us when we consider the dynamics of swindling the fear-ridden bewildred resentfuls of the aging white consie base out of their few remainign discretionary-spending dollars - tactically isn't it better to have them toss those wrinkled, stained, sweat-socked Lincolns on this new Bonfire of the (Conservative) Vanities?

Let them keep funding the GOP Clown-Parade. Let Doc Clueless, Frothy-the-Snowjobman Santorum, Hucklebeery Fink, Donald Dump and all the rest dance and sing and pose in their g;orious invisible-to-all-but-them Emperors' New Campaign Clothes till the cows (and votes) come home. Let the great adventure Bad-Branding the GOP run and run and run at great and unproductive (and coutner-productive) expense. Let them comntinue to draw the worst elements, worst aspects, worst ideas, proposals and positions of the GOP out into the open - all in an endless laughter- then yawn- then aggravation-inducing steel cage death-match scrum. Think how these fools will draw whoever the final GOP nominee more and more towards untenable positions in order the re-capture the fringiest elemtnts of the GOP base - thus drawing him/her further and firther away from that general middle wherein lie the majority of potential swing votes in the general election.

so much, so very much better than if these dollars were applied honestly and potentially effectively to the forwasrding of a rational, possibly winning GOP general campaign, yes?
