I have read dozens of articles in magazines with titles like "How To Tell If You Are An Alcoholic" and one of the questions is always "Do you drink at home, alone?" I always thought this was nonsense ... where else would a single person drink safely?
Bravo that!! Since zoning has made the neighborhood pub nonexistent in this here USA, there's noplace anyone with brain cells left to kill can reasonably go. Clubs, bars and other "destination drinking" sites are a bad idea.
That said, if I really wanted to go drink, Mrs. SG Man would drive, because we're drawn that way. Well, she is, anyway....
